These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of mealsketch (the “Service”), operated by Anton Yashkin, based in Germany. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time (see “Changes to these terms” below), and your continued use means you accept the updated version.

2. The service

mealsketch is a meal planner that lets families plan weekly meals, keep recipes, build shopping lists, and share them together. The Service is currently in beta and provided free of charge. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product develops.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms;
• upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users’ data;
• misuse the Service in a way that harms mealsketch or other users.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the meal plans, recipes, and other content you create in mealsketch. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you and the family members you share it with. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.

6. Beta and “as is”

Because the Service is in beta, it may contain bugs, be incomplete, or change without notice. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running smoothly but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mealsketch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
